BLACK CAT ALLEY

I was invited to develop a piece for Milwaukee’s Black Cat Alley. The piece was to be part of a smaller event called Microcosm. The general idea was to address the concept of many small things/people/ideas contributing to a greater result. With that concept in mind, bricks are a perfect fit. They literally are small things contributing to greater results, buildings. To further explore that concept each individual brick was broken down into smaller shapes and represents its own microcosm.
